Assessment of Goals and Attendee
Satisfaction
At the end of each conference, attendees complete an evaluation form containing the following questions designed to assess (1) the degree to which the three conference goals were accomplished and (2) attendee satisfaction as measured by willingness to attend future conferences and to recommend the conference to their peers. The results of these questions from the five conferences that took place between 2007 and 2011 appear below with the numbers of attendees who answered Yes or No to each question followed by two verbatim attendee comments from an open-ended question on the evaluation form that support and explain their answers. These data confirmed that the conference accomplished its goals and satisfied its attendees’ academic, social, and professional needs.
